Mastering the process performance and characteristics of various plastics is the basic professional knowledge that every injection molding worker must understand. As a leading plastic injection molding manufacturer in China, Goodtech will first explain the polypropylene (PP) injection molding process.

PP is a translucent plastic crystal, with high crystallinity, good insulation, non-conductivity, and low water absorption, which makes pp have good fracture resistance and is very practical to make products. It is the raw material of plastic products that can be seen everywhere in our lives.

High-purity PP is transparent white, so it can be dyed into various colors, so plastic injection molding manufacturer will make colorful products based on this performance of PP, which are deeply loved by consumers. PP generally does not need to be dried before injection molding, and there are no special requirements for injection molding machines. The melting point of PP is 160-175°C, and the decomposition temperature is 350°C, but the temperature setting cannot exceed 275°C during injection processing, and the melting temperature is best at 240°C. Due to the high crystallinity of PP, the injection pressure used in the manufacturing process also needs to be greater.

In order to reduce product deformation caused by excessive injection pressure, high-speed injection molding should be selected during injection molding, which can reduce the appearance of bubbles and airlines in custom plastic injection molding parts.
